Practicum
Evaluation
1. All students must
receive written feedback regarding their performance in their practicum.
Students must be given sufficient opportunity to discuss their
performance with their supervisors. These evaluations will comprise part
of the ongoing evaluation of students in the Counselling Program.
Students’ receive a Pass/Fail in their practicum. The final grade will
be assigned by the program faculty member.
2. In the event of
unsatisfactory performance, the student may receive a grade of
Incomplete for the course, which can be extended for up to one semester
from the time the Incomplete was assigned. During this time the student
must address and resolve the deficiencies.
3. Students are expected
at all times to behave in accordance with accepted professional and
ethical standards outlined by the Canadian Counselling Association.
