Teaching mathematics has grown increasingly complex over time. Teachers today face a changing society, technological shifts and a student body with diverse needs. Acadia University’s M.Ed. in Curriculum Studies with a concentration in Mathematics Education provides teachers with opportunities to learn and share experiences with colleagues in courses that offer both theoretical grounding and practical applications. The courses are sequenced to provide a balanced approach and to follow the developing interests of the students enrolled. Teachers at both the elementary and secondary levels will be able to develop as lead teachers in mathematics education. |
