Applying online takes about 15 minutes. You can apply for our undergraduate programs any time after October 1.

Undergraduate

An undergraduate degree is a bachelor-level degree, and nearly all are 4-year programs. We also offer a few diploma and certificate programs. You can enter most undergraduate programs directly from high school. Certain professional programs, such as Education and Music Therapy, require some previous university experience.

Online Learning

Acadia offers over 80 online "continuous intake" (open-entry) courses that you can start anywhere, anytime. In these courses, you'll work at your own pace to progress in your undergraduate degree, add new career skills, or learn for an intellectual challenge. Certificate options include Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

English for Academic Purposes

Acadia University's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is a 10-week, intensive English language program for students who:

  • Have not been accepted by a university program, but want to improve their academic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
  • Have a conditional acceptance to a university degree program but do not have a high enough TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL, or other language proficiency test score.
  • Are graduate and undergraduate students who want additional language training to help them be successful in their degree programs.
