Description

The Municipality of Ramat HaSharon (meaning Sharon heights) is situated 5 km NE of Tel Aviv and just next of Herzlia. Est. 1922, it became a Local Council from 1949 and a municipality on 20 January 2003.
The municipal flag is hoisted in all the main streets and is the green municipal emblem on yellow. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), YP 633, 13 November 1958, for the then Local Council.

Initiated in 1922 and first settled in 1923 as a colony named Ir Shalom (City of Peace). Renamed in 1932 as Kefar Ramat HaSharon. In time the Kefar was omitted.
Unfortunately, the municipal site [retrieved] says nothing about the emblem, however it is quite easy to identify the main object in the emblem as the local water tower (built 1930, not in use since 1999, photo source) as well of identifying the flower asTzivoni HaSharon (Tulipa agenensis sharonensis)

Since my previous report, Ramat HaSharon was promoted from local council to municipality and the municipal flag change its color from yellow to orange (common color at the Sharon region), there is no more thin rectangle around the emblem and inscription was added.

From Hebrew Wikipedia:

The town's coat of arms was designed by Ze'ev Lipman of the Roli Studio as part of a design competition held in the late 1950s.
The coat of arms represents the town's agricultural character in its early days. Ramat HaSharon was founded as an agricultural settlement, and in its early days, water was a critical resource for agriculture and daily life. Water towers were built to provide a steady water supply to all residents and farmers, and so they became a symbol of a developing community, independence and a strong infrastructure.
The Ramat HaSharon water tower, situated next to the Rotberg Secondary School – which was built in 1930 and has been out of service since 1999 – is a well-known landmark in the town and is regarded as one of the symbols of its past. The tower symbolises the history and development of the settlement.
Flower cultivation formed a central part of the residents' economic activity, alongside orchards and other agricultural crops. The flowers symbolise the town's fertility, growth and development, and represent the close connection between its residents and nature, as well as the green spaces that characterised it.
Furthermore, the inclusion of flowers in the town's coat of arms also expresses the desire to preserve Ramat HaSharon's agricultural heritage, whilst it progresses towards becoming a modern and developed town. They serve as a symbol of a high quality of life, aesthetics and innovation, reflecting the town's unique character today.
