The blue field of the shield depicts a silver pickaxe, with its other end shaped like an anchor. The shortened shaft of the pickaxe rests upon a silver sea wave. Two silver wave stripes are separated by a blue wave. The center of the second silver wave touches the upper part of the anchor. The colors of the coat of arms are blue (PANTONE 285c) and silver-gray (PANTONE 538c).

As can be seen from the photos, there is also a version of the flag featuring the coat of arms, but all the stripes are of the same width.
