Coat of Arms

image by Tomislav Šipek, 14 September 2026

The blue shield of the coat of arms features a flying silver dragonfly, with a silver circle positioned on the central axis at the bottom of the shield. It is a so-called "canting" coat of arms—the silver dragonfly is a direct reference to the municipality's name. The silver circle (representing a silver coin) alludes to the area's past—stone burial mounds, cult stones, battle sites, and archaeological finds.
