Conditions of Use
Publicly-accessible materials
While most of these items are made publicly-accessible, very few are
public domain -- much of the music scores, most of the Early Music Resources, all of the Score Software Resources and most of the course materials are copyrighted to the individual named with each item. Most are copyrighted to Gordon J. Callon. We have put thousands of hours of work -- and thousands of dollars -- into editing, producing, tagging and proofreading, and we hope the results are useful to a broad audience.
By their use of these texts scores, images, and resources, users agree to follow these conditions of use:
- These materials may not be used for any commercial purpose without permission from Gordon J. Callon.
- These materials may not be re-distributed without permission from Gordon J. Callon.
- Users are not permitted to download our materials in order to mount them on their own servers for public use or for use by a set of subscribers. Institutions can, of course, make a link to the copies at
Acadia University, subject to our conditions of use.
It is not in our interest or that of our users to have uncontrolled
subsets of our holdings available elsewhere on the Internet.
We make corrections, add tags, add scores and images, etc. on a continual
basis, and we want the most current version to be the only one generally available to all Internet users.
- These materials can be used as the basis for additional HTML or TEI tagging or for some other project, but we ask that you let us know before you start, so that we can coordinate work on that item and make sure that we are not working on it simultaneously. We would like a copy of the
improved items for our collections.
Credits are provided at the head of each item, when supplied by other individuals. New items will be added on a continuing basis.
