Acadia University to host capital campaign launch celebration
 in Toronto

 

(Wolfville, NS) -  On Wednesday, November 8th, at the Sutton Place Hotel, Toronto, Acadia University will host a campaign launch celebration for its Tides are Turning Capital Campaign.

Festivities will take place from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Stop 33.

The Toronto campaign has been led by Bruce Galloway, former vice chairman of the Royal Bank. This is Acadia University’s first significant capital campaign in more than 10 years and one of its most aggressive. The Campaign priorities include:

• The west campus redevelopment, including the new Biology building  
   and a renovated Patterson Hall;
• The K.C. Irving Environmental Trust
• Student life
• The Learning Commons and academic initiatives; and
• Student financial aid

195 volunteers throughout North America and around the world are working on the Tides are Turning Capital Campaign.
