Acadia University to host a symposium on human-computer interaction

 

(Wolfville, NS) -  Media are invited to attend a symposium on human-computer interaction at 8:30 a.m. on Monday September 27th in the K.C Irving Centre Auditorium, Acadia University.

Feature talks will be given by Gitte Lindgaard of the Human-Oriented Technology Lab at Carleton University; Elaine Toms, a Canada Research Chair in Management Informatics at Dalhousie University; and Eileen Wood of the Psychology Department at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University.

The symposium is an opportunity to learn about the Acadia Digital Culture Observatory and to engage in discussion about how society has been and continues to be transformed by technology.
