Co-operative Education and Internship Options

After two successful years of study, work experience as an integral part of studies in the form of either co-operative education work terms or an internship, is available for student enrolled in biology, business, chemistry, computer science, English, environmental science, French, history, geology, German, math, music, nutrition, physics, political science, psychology, sociology and Spanish.

Students are remunerated during their work terms and com­plete either 3 or 4 four-month work terms (depending on program of study) or a 12 or 16 month internship.

Students apply to the Department of Co-operative Education and Career Services for admission in September of their second year of study. Completion of mandatory co-op workshops is required prior to a student’s first work term.
