An introduction to Canadian history focusing on Aboriginal societies, New France and British North America to 1867. In addition to general knowledge of Canadian history, students will be introduced to the variety of historical theories and methodologies that characterize the field. Students may offer either 1306 or 1313 and/or 1323 for credit.
