An intermediate course which will study the chemistry of organic
functional groups not covered at the 2000
level. Special attention
will be given to the use of sophisticated organic reactions for the
synthesis of more complex molecules. The student will be introduced
to organic reactions on a microscale in the lab. (3h lab)
