POLS 4383 APPROACHES TO INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

This course will cover various aspects of the range of international relations theory. Realism, pluralism, globalism and normative theoretical approaches will be examined with a view to explaining levels of analysis, transnationalism, dependency, and moral choice in international politics. Readings will be selected from the "ancients" to post-modern writers.
Prereq: Pols 2683/2783 with B or higher, or permission of the instructor.
