This course will provide those students selected for the Health
Promotion and Wellness specialization an opportunity to apply course
material in a practical setting (in consultation with their advisor).
Placements will be with recognized government, educational, or social
service agencies which are directly related to the field. Students
will be expected to work in a number of situations on a weekly basis.
Experiences will be recorded and discussed by the group. The practicum
is supported by meetings, readings, and written papers.
