An introduction to the principles, practices and applications of satellite
remote sensing. Electromagnetic spectra, satellite platforms, image enhancement,
image classification and interpretation. Environmental and resource applications
will be discussed. Laboratory work focuses on using image analysis programs to
analyze satellite imagery. (3h lab)
