Acadia University Chaplaincy

Chaplaincy Endowment Fund
|

|
To ensure the continuation of the chaplaincy within the educational environment at Acadia, a special University Chaplaincy Endowment Fund was established in 1991. This fund will eventually provide for a university chaplain, student assistants, supplies and entire budget requirements for a vigorous program offered to students, faculty and staff of the University.
The Chaplaincy Endowment Fund allows the ecumenical religious traditions of Acadia to continue, and encourages the building of a progressive university environment for the integration of learning and personal spiritual growth.
|
In the current University economic climate, it is essential that $1 million is raised to guarantee the continuance of this important part of Acadia’s fabric. To date, close to $1.3 million has been donated to the fund, with most of this amount comprised of a number of small gifts over the years.
Supporting the Chaplaincy Endowment Fund helps to enrich spiritual life on campus, one of the five key focuses of Acadia along with the academic, athletic, cultural and social.
Gifts to the Chaplaincy Endowment Fund may be made in one or more of the following ways:
On a regular basis: offering envelopes are available from the Chaplain, and donors may make as many, or as few, contributions as they wish through the Sunday evening chapel offering.
Direct contributions may be made through the Development Office, Acadia University. This can be done online, by phone, or by mail.
Individuals might wish to remember Acadia through a bequest and earmark it for the Chaplaincy Endowment Fund. Please advise the Development Office if you choose this option, or visit their website for more information.
Tax receipts are issued for all donations.
