ATHENAEUM
The Athenaeum is the official student newspaper of Acadia University, created by and for the Acadia community. It seeks to provide a forum for student opinions and expertise in order to accurately reflect the culture of this university. It also embraces the town of Wolfville as an undeniable element of the Acadia experience.
The Athenaeum strives to help define what is unique about this particular time and place and this particular collection of individuals whose common link is Acadia University. With this aim in mind, we as students attempt to negotiate relationships between ourselves as Acadia and world at large.
The Athenaeum is published by Acadia Students' Union Inc. Opinions expressed herein do not necessarily represent those of the Acadia Students' Union Inc. or the staff of The Athenaeum.
The Athenaeum is a member of the Canadian University press (CUP) and adheres to the Charter of Rights and Responsibilities of CUP.
The Athenaeum welcomes comments and criticisms. Letters to the Editor are due one week before the paper is distributed (based on a bi-weekly printing schedule) and can be submitted to eic@acadiau.ca. The Athenaeum reserves the right to edit or refuse material for publication.
