The Habitats of the Acadian Forest Region

The main outdoor collection of the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens is divided into nine unique habitats. These habitats represent natural habitats that are found in the Acadian Forest Region and include deciduous woodlands, freshwater inland marshes, bogs, coastal headlands, mixed woodlands, calcareous woodlands, wet woodlands, sand barrens, and coniferous woodlands.
