NATURE COUNTS! at the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens

DISCOVER THE BIODIVERSITY IN WOLFVILLE’S BACKYARD
Join the Blomidon Naturalists Society & Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens on weekly monitoring walks through
the Woodland Trails and Gardens. Meet at the Main Gardens Entrance 32 University Avenue.
No registration needed, just put on a pair of comfortable walking shoes and show up! Great activity for families
and nature lovers of all ages. Join us once, or join us every week. You're welcome to bring
binoculars, field
guides and a camera and notebook. Dogs are not encouraged as they may scare away the woodland critters that

Mud Creek Kitchen Garden Party
Sunday, July 27th 1-4pm
In celebration of Mud Creek Days children and adults are invited to an afternoon of music in the Gardens.
Proceeds go to Acadia University’s Shinerama in support of Cystic Fibrosis research.

Friends of the Gardens
Weekly meetings in the potting shed Our group of garden volunteers meet every Tuesday morning from 9-11am throughout the season. Tuesday mornings are spent gardening, collecting seeds and propagating plant material. New members always welcome! Current projects include working on a spring plant sale and making natural tree ornament. Please visit our Volunteer page for more information.
